Yes, participation in the program is free. The training of our participants is sponsored with the support of INCO partners.
Job Starter is a program for Ukrainians abroad (within Europe) and at home who were forced to change their place of residence due to the full-scale invasion and are currently looking for a new job or career change.
We regularly open new training groups. The dates of upcoming cohort are presented on the welcome page of the application form. We select participants on the "first come — first serve" logic. This means that your application may be considered for another cohort in case we have reached the maximum number of participants in the soonest cohort. We will definitely let you know if situation like this happens.
If you are not sure if the current period of study is suitable for you, you can apply later. Please pay attention to the dates indicated on the first page of our application form. If your plans change during the selection process, you can contact us with a request to participate in the next selections using this contact form.
We would love to support every Ukrainian wishing to boost their career growth! But since we are aiming to maximize the impact of our available recourses, we will have to select only those participants, who are currently in the most difficult situation on their way to stability in employment and income. We pay attention to all the answers to the questions on our application form, especially the last (third) step. So be careful and take enough time to fill out the application.
The main training is consucted in Ukrainian, but additional resources, short cources on IT skills and professional career certificated for selected graduates will be offered in English. Knowledge of English is not required to participate in the program.
Yes, the program is 100% remote.
Our program will take 10-15 hours of your time per week, including live classes, one-on-one coaching sessions, and independent work. Make sure you have enough time before applying to the program.
Yes, a part of our group sessions will have fixed time. Generally, it will take place Monday to Thursday, in the afternoon or evening. The rest of the program elements are very flexible. It is not critical if you miss some of the sessions, however all of them are made to take you step by step through the job-seekingjourney.
You need to have a computer (or tablet) with internet access, and also know how to use platforms like Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Zoom.
The program includes weekly group classes with real-time experts, 1:1 coaching sessions, lectures on using artificial intelligence for job search, an individual workbook that will collect all the important elements for a successful job search, online support, access to a platform of short courses in IT and soft skills (in English), and career events.
A certificate and additional rewards will be awarded to participants who meet the requirements for successful completion of the training program: attending the introductory session, being active during meetings, and completing homework assignments.
Although we provide participants with valuable skills, we do not guarantee employment after the program. Finding a job depends on individual efforts. However, we offer extensive support, including a career coach, job search resources, employer meetings, and English language classes to ensure that participants have the tools to enter the job market with confidence.
